Presiden Bush, mengulangi kenyataan angkuh pimpinan regim Israel menuntut Hamas menghentikan serangan.

As every athlete looks forward to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Lin Dan, who was certainly qualified to play, did not begin the year on a strong note as he failed to win the Malaysian Open and Korean Open (he was a finalist in the latter). He lost his All England title to Chen Jin, but then went on to win the Swiss Open.
In the 2008 the Thomas Cup which was held in Jakarta, Lin Dan won every match he played except in the semi-finals where he lost to Malaysia's Lee Chong Wei. Even with his loss, China advanced to the finals. In the finals, Lin Dan earned a point for China as he returned from a first-set loss and overcame Park Sung-hwan of South Korea 10-21, 21-18, 21-8. China beat South Korea 3–1 and brought the cup back for the third consecutive time.
Lin Dan did not play in Singapore Open or the Indonesia Open, two tournaments that were ranked Super Series tournaments. This was due to his intensive training for the Olympic Games. He did however, play in the Thailand Open Grand Prix as a precursor to the Olympic Games. There, he defeated local favorite Boonsak Ponsana to take the title.
In the Olympic Games, Lin Dan, who was undoubtedly the local hero and heavy favourite began his gold medal hunt by subduing Hong Kong's Ng Wei 21-16, 21-13 in the round of 32. Next he saw off Park Sung-hwan 21-11, 21-8, and in the quarter finals, Lin Dan ended veteran Peter Gade's dream of ever winning an Olympic medal as he beat Gade in straight sets. He then faced Chinese youngster Chen Jin in the semi-finals and beat him in handily in two sets. This vaulted him into the finals where he was set to meet Lee Chong Wei. The dream match had finally come true as the world number one Lin Dan and world number two were set to battle it out for badminton's most prestigious title. It was supposed to be a tough match for both players, but Lin Dan grabbed the gold as he overwhelmed the Malaysian in a one-sided two-setter 21-12, 21-8. Lin Dan thus became the first men's singles player ever to win the All England title, two world championship titles, and the Olympic gold medal.
After a hiatus of almost four months, Lin Dan came back in November from a post-Olympic break and played in the China Open Super Series. He again met Lee Chong Wei in the finals and won by the scores of 21-18, 21-9 with the second set almost identical to their match in the Beijing Games. In late November he faced Chen Jin in the finals of the Hong Kong Super Series but lost 9-21, 21-9, 17-21.
Even though Lin Dan only competed in 5 Super Series events this year, he has enough points to qualify for the BWF Super Series Masters Finals being held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia

Beijing Olympics: -Lee Chong Wei bids for Malaysia's first gold medal

Lee, who is badminton's world two, has admitted in the run up to the Games that he is feeling the pressure of taking on the Chinese juggernaut in Beijing but insists he will try to relax once the tournament gets under way.
"I'll try my best to win every match step by step. I haven't wished for a lot as I don't want to give myself too much pressure," he said.
Malaysia has only ever won three Olympic medals, one silver and two bronze, all of them in badminton. But despite being a badminton powerhouse, the Southeast Asian nation has never captured gold.
Lee has hit top form heading into the Games, winning the Malaysian and Singapore Opens this year and downing China's star and world No 1 Lin Dan at the recent Thomas Cup.
But Lee, who was knocked out in the last 16 at Athens four years ago, played down his chances of defeating Lin and China's equally fearsome Bao Chunlai and All England champion Chen Jin.
"I think the Chinese athletes have more advantages because they are playing in China," the second seed said. "But I like the venue, there is no wind and the lighting is comfortable."
In his opening match on Monday, Lee faces Singapore's Ronald Susilo who downed Lin in the first round at the Athens Games.

"Michael Jackson 'converts to Islam and changes name to Mikaeel'

The singer, who was raised as a Jehovah's Witness, converted to Islam in a ceremony at a friend's house in Los Angeles.
He is said to have sat on the floor and worn a small hat while an imam officiated.
According to The Sun, the ceremony took place while Jackson, 50, was recording an album at the home of Steve Porcaro, a keyboard player who composed music on his Thriller album.
The former Jackson 5 star was counselled by David Wharnsby, a Canadian songwriter, and Phillip Bubal, a producer, who have both converted.
A source said Jackson had appeared a "bit down" and added: "They began talking to him about their beliefs, and how they thought they had become better people after they converted. Michael soon began warming to the idea.
"An imam was summoned from the mosque and Michael went through the shahada, which is the Muslim declaration of belief."
Last year his brother, Jermaine Friday, suggested Jackson would convert having taken an interest in Islam since Friday's conversion in 1989.
"When I came back from Mecca I got him a lot of books and he asked me lots of things about my religion and I told him that it's peaceful and beautiful," said Friday.
"He read everything and he was proud of me that I found something that would give me inner strength and peace.
"I think it is most probable that Michael will convert to Islam.
"He could do so much, just like I am trying to do. Michael and I and the word of God, we could do so much

-WOH BUDAK NI NEBENG NGAT!!!!!!

-WOI BUDAK NEBENG SANGAT KAU NI...DAH MELAMPAU NI....HAHAHAHA..

-WHAT THE HELL THE BOY!!!

Ini sekadar hiasan. Ternyata ini bukan gua.Walaupun mamat ni pakai spek, tapi dia tak putih macam gua.Gua pun takla seburuk lantak macam dia ni.Tambahan pula, gua lagi hensem dari mamat ni.Haritu gua p satu kedai "sinseh" (tabib cina) beli ubat Qaseh. Gua agak familiar jugak la dgn sinseh tu. Selalu gua beli ubat dgn dia. Sinseh tu ckp gua kena kontrol makan. Dia pun perasan gua dah bulat satu macam. Pastu dia ckp badan gua banyak toksin sama angin. Gua tanya dia balik, ada ka ubat kasi "potong" selera makan. Dia cakap tadak looo. "Itu suma lu sendili aaa kena kontrol." kata sinseh tu lagi.Betul. Bunyi macam lawak. Tapi itula masalah gua. Gua punya nafsu makan sangat membuak2. Nampak tu nak makan, nampak ni makan. Ada jugak member cakap gua ni tak baca Bismillah kot sebelum makan. Gua senyum je la. Gua cakap, gua dah baca semua dah. Weekend gua naik Bukit Bendera (Hiking ok ? Bukan naik keretapi), jogging / jalan laju di area Taman Belia di Penang. Orang Penang tau aaa mana tempat-tempat gua sebut ni. Sekali sekala gua join budak-budak Kampung Rawa main bola di Padang Polo. Bukan tu menunjukkan gua still ok ke ? Tapi badan gua tetap montel. Biar besar, asal gua fit. Bab rokok tu, lain cerite la yek ? Kalo lu orang ada nasihat/pendapat, dipersilakan la ek. Gua no hal. Lama dah gua nak share pasal masalah problem gua ni.
